Built into the bedrock of Sedona.
My grandfather, William Kind Hamburg, was a developer in mid-century Sedona. He built Mission Hills in West Sedona and Lazy Bear Estates in Uptown, neighborhoods where families still live today, three generations later. He didn't just buy and sell lots here. He helped shape what Sedona looks like.
My father grew up in those neighborhoods. I grew up walking distance from them. I've been climbing these red rocks, drinking coffee in Uptown, and watching this town evolve for as long as I can remember. When I tell a buyer "this neighborhood floods in monsoon season" or "this view will be blocked by future development," that isn't from a comp report. That's from showing up here every day of my life.
Most agents commute to Sedona. I actually grew up in and live here. That's a big difference, and it matters when you're spending serious money on a home here. You need an actual local expert who knows all the nuances of this unique market.
